He joined the organisation in 2020 as a Managing Director of HSCM’s reinsurance investment team and since then has been instrumental in the development and expansion of the managers life ILS investment strategies.

Sudarsana also played a key role during the launch of HS Mohawk Fund I LP, HSCM’s life insurance-focused continuation fund.

“Gokul brings a unique combination of technical excellence, sound judgment, and leadership to everything he does. His contributions have been fundamental to the success and evolution of our Life and Re/Insurance strategies, and we are proud to promote him to Partner,” said Michael Millette, Managing Partner of HSCM.

Sudarsana’s additional role comes amid a series of promotions at Hudson Structured Capital Management as the company continues to build-out its staff structure.

Laurel Healy has been promoted to Managing Director, Head of Human Resources, having joined HSCM as the firm’s first Human Resources hire four years ago.

At the same time, Hamish McNiven has been promoted to Vice President.

Since rejoining HSCM in 2024 from a specialty reinsurer, where he mostly focused on credit underwriting and portfolio management, McNiven has played a key role in advancing the firm’s re/insurance strategy.

In addition, Sam Bridges has also been promoted to Associate, Senior Fund Accountant.

“Each of these individuals has earned their advancement through hard work, insight, and a commitment to excellence. We are excited for what lies ahead as they take on these expanded roles,” Millette added.
